UC Davis CDF Group Homepage

Our group performs research in high energy particle physics with the CDF experiment situated at the Tevatron collider at Fermilab.  Run II began March 1, 2001 and will continue for the next several years.  During this time, CDF will record and analyze the world's highest energy proton-antiproton collisions with the goal of a better understanding of the fundamental building blocks of nature.  We are especially interested in searches for the Higgs boson and for Supersymmetric particles, the discovery of which would profoundly increase our understanding of physics at the smallest scale.
